Blueprint Employment and Training Inc is a not for profit community organisation specifically established to assist small, medium and large sized enterprises and/or individuals who have employment and/or training needs. Blueprint offer training & employment services at competitive rates while ensuring quality training. We offer our services to all aspects of the community – industry; commercial enterprises, other community agencies; government and all individuals. Blueprint is a Registered Training Organisation under the Australian Quality Training Framework.

Blueprint Employment & Training Inc. - A brief profile

Blueprint was registered as an incorporated body in Queensland 28th January 2005, and operates under the guidance of a volunteer committee of management. This committee includes representatives from industry including a mixture of senior management and employee representatives; members of the community and Blueprint employees.

As an RTO we adhere to the standards established under the Australian Quality Training Framework. Prospective students can view relevant  policies and procedures through the Student Pre-course information kit available on the website.

Although a small organisation, our clients have included (not a complete or comprehensive list) Woolworth's Regional Distribution Centre; Queensland Rail Passenger, Hastings Deering, JJ Richards and Sons, Macrack Australia;  Amcor Cartons;  Coventry Group Qld; Big W; and the Queensland Government Dept. of Employment, Economic Development and Innovation.

Blueprint is committed to employing highly skilled, qualified and experienced staff who believe in the principles of the organisation and shares the organisations commitment to all members of the community. To fulfill our obligation to offer competitive rates and operate on sound financial management principles, the organisation operates with a minimal workforce, there is no excess staff or unnecessary expensive overheads.  

Staffing

Currently Blueprint employs six staff members:

Angie Rue - Operations Manager who is responsible for the business planning, business operations, RTO registration, marketing and course  bookings etc

David Pearson - Training Manager who is responsible for Training development, course delivery, course recruitment and training resource development.

Glenn Wood - Warehouse and Forklift Trainer/Assessor who is responsible for Training Delivery in Warehousing and Forklift Operations and undertaking Forklift Assessments

David Rathborne - Warehouse Training who is responsible for Training delivery in warehousing and forklift operations

Brian Zimmerman - Contract trainer/assessor for forklift, order picking forklift and bridge and gantry crane

Karly Handley - Administration officer who is responsible for general administration duties, RTO administration such as production of certificates, production of training manuals and booking travel and accommodation arrangements for training staff

Emma Williams - Trainee who is responsible for supporting the Warehouse Trainer and assisting in the development of our Safety Clothing social enterprise The Safety Warehouse.

Lucille Penrose - Administration Officer (fixed term) focusing on developing marketing material and designing promotional and visual merchandising strategies for The Safety Warehouse project.

Ange Tupu -  Project Worker (fixed term) under The Safety Warehouse Project responsible for assisting in the establishment of the business enterprise, setting up warehouse functions, picking and packing orders and stock management.

Our staff bring varied employment backgrounds including industry, community sector, private sector and public sector experience. Trainers and Managers have both industry experience and relevant qualifications. 

Our Mission

Blueprint's aim is to assist business and individuals within the community to access and undertake identified training and employment assistance based on their specific needs. To achieve this blueprint will

 1)     act as a not for profit community organisation, ensuring any excess funds are returned to the organisation and the community by the provision of worthwhile services;

2)     ensure that the services provided to small business and individuals in the community address, and are responsive to their, needs;

3)     focus upon providing quality training and/or employment services;

4)     assist small business and individuals within the community to develop by:

a)     identifying needs within the training and/or employment sector;

b)     providing training and/or employment services which target identified needs;

c)      providing assistance in accessing training and/or employment services;

d)     assisting small business and/or individuals source available support funding to achieve their vocational / occupational requirements;

5)     ensure that any fees payed by small business and individuals are fair and competitive; and

6)     be responsible financially.

 Brenwyn Everton - President - Management Committee
