CPCCOHS1001A Work safely in the construction industry - previously known as 30215QLD Course in General Safety Induction (Construction Industry) - "Bluecard"
The new "Whitecard" course is an induction program designed as a preparatory program prior to entry to a building and construction workplace in compliance with statutory requirements of the Workplace Health and Safety Act 1995.
Nominal Duration: 6 hours (face to face)

Course Aims:
The aim of the “Whitecard” course is to provide initial basic health and safety education to persons working in the building and construction industry. It covers the following:
1. Legislative requirements and responsibilities
2. Basic concepts of workplace health and safety plans and work methods statements
3. Physical building and construction hazards
4. Basic risk management concepts
5. Hazard reporting
6. Common hazards of the construction industry
