and Training Inc offer forklift training through 30496QLD Course in Operating
Load Shifting Equipment (OHSCER210A Operate a Bridge or Gantry Crane (remote
operation only).
Blueprint Inc offers a
range of training and assessment options to suit both individuals and companies.
Please note that training and assessment must be done on site (employer
premises) and some options involve employer involvement and contributions to
training. This must be confirmed and negotiated prior to booking. Contact
Blueprint Inc staff for more information on the option that best suits your
needs.
In general, to obtain
a Bridge and Gantry Crane license a student must complete formal training and
gain approximately 40 hours of practical log book experience prior to
undertaking a written and practical assessment. This can be made up of a number
of training options listed below:

Blueprint Formal Training
delivery - This course is suitable for those employers who do not
wish to or are unable to provide formal training. The course includes 2 days
of ‘formal’ training including theory and practical. Students are issued with
Theory Manuals for study and a personalised log book which is used to record
practical Order Picking forklift driving experience back at the workplace.
Once this is achieved an assessment date is arranged.

Employer Partnership
- This option is suitable for those participants who have previous experience
and whose employer is able to provide contributory training. This course
includes 1 day formal training and a negotiated training plan. Students will
also be required to undertake study through their Theory Manuals and obtain
log book experience. Once this is achieved an assessment date is arranged.

Employer delivery - This option
is only available after negotiation and approval by Blueprint Staff. This
option may be suitable for organisations that have existing training plans and
processes in place and are wishing to align with a training organisation for
licensing purposes. This option involves participation in a range of
professional development activities and use of Blueprint resources by
agreement. Please contact Blueprint staff for more details

Recognition of Prior Learning
- This option is designed for operators who can demonstrate thorough prior
experience and training and sufficient evidence to receive formal recognition
of their operating skills and operator safety knowledge. All applicants must
complete a formal assessment.
